This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which We Define Net (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles project cancellations and refunds. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms below. This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Use.
2. Payment Structure
- 25% upfront payment is required to initiate the project.
- 50% is payable midway, upon completion of major deliverables.
- 25% is payable on project approval, before final handover.
All prices quoted are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST).
3. Cancellation by the Client
If the client cancels after the project has started:
- The upfront payment is non-refundable.
- Mid-project cancellations will incur proportional charges for the work completed up to the cancellation date.
4. Cancellation by We Define Net
We Define Net may cancel or suspend a service in the event of breach of contract, non-payment, or repeated non-cooperation. In such cases, charges for completed work will apply.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only considered in the following cases:
- Before the project starts — a refund may be issued, less any administrative charges already incurred.
- If We Define Net fails to deliver as per the agreed scope, supported by valid documentation.
- Partial refunds may be issued for incomplete milestones, where eligible.
6. Non-Refundable Items
- Payments for stages or milestones already completed and approved.
- Third-party costs already paid on your behalf (domains, hosting, paid tools, ad spend, licenses).
- Work delivered as per the agreed scope.
7. Refund Process
To request a refund, email info@wedefinenet.com with your project details and reason for the request. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable business timeframe.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
